Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind for Alessi in 2016. The Time Maze brings Libeskind's bold architectural style to the wall clock-angular, fragmented, and far from conventional. The sprawling asymmetrical form throws out the traditional clock face entirely, presenting time through a broken geometric structure that functions as much as modern wall sculpture as it does a timepiece. Body is red painted metal with black face and black hands.
A signed collaboration between one of contemporary architecture's most celebrated figures and Italian design manufacturer Alessi, the Time Maze carries on the tradition of architect-designed objects that live at the intersection of product design and built form.
The form is in great location but the clock's motor isn't working and will need to be replaced.
