Rentals / Shipping / Returns

Rentals

All of our current inventory is available for rental for film & photo shoots, special events, and home stagings.  Please send an email to joe@tenondesign.com with information on which item you’re interested in, the dates you’ll need it, and, if delivery/pick up is required, the location where you’ll need the piece.

Our rate for rentals is 30% of the sale price for a 24 hour period.  If you need it for longer than one day, let us know and we’re happy to provide multi-day, week, and monthly rates. 

We’ll take a deposit when you reserve the item and final payment is due upon delivery (or pick up if you come to get it).  If, heaven forbid, something goes wrong and the piece is broken, we’ll have to charge for the full sale price of the item.  If it is stained or has minor damage, we’ll only charge the cost the repair or cleaning.

Delivery charges are based on the piece and the delivery location.  Just let us know what you want, where you need it, and we’ll let you know the cost.  We deliver to all of NYC, as well as the Hamptons/Montauk, Hudson Valley, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

 

Shipping

We ship worldwide.  Please contact us for a shipping quote if your location isn’t listed.  All items will be shipped with tracking and, if over $100, insurance.  All orders ship within 7 business days after purchase, unless we let you know otherwise.

If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know immediately.

We aren’t responsible for customs or duty fees, or for postal/shipping transit times.

We are happy to combine shipping for multiple items. 

We strive to use recyclable products whenever possible.

 

Refunds & Exchanges

Vintage pieces should be expected to have wear, and we make every effort to describe in detail the condition of each piece.

We will make every effort to ensure you are happy with your purchase, but we don’t accept returns or offer refunds.

If an order arrives with damage from shipping, you must contact us within 48 hours with damage details and photos.  (All carriers require additional photos and detailed information on damage.)  Please keep the original packing since the carrier may have to pick up damaged packages for a claim.  No claims can be made after 48 hours after package’s arrival.

We have tested all lighting and electronics to ensure that they are in working condition, unless we’ve stated otherwise in the item description.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that each piece is up to applicable safety codes and regulations.
