Designed in 1999 for Zanotta, Andrea Branzi's Izzika is the perfect sculptural centerpiece. A frame of nickel holds in place woven glass rods, some of which are straight and some are gently undulating, that come together to create a beautiful nest of transparency and reflection, a subtle and sensitive use of the materials.

An extraordinarily accomplished designer and architect, a founding member of the avant-garde design group Archizoom Associati, as well as a member of both Studio Alchimia and Memphis Group, Branzi's work can be found in the permanent collections of Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Victoria & Albert Museum in London and in the Vitra Design Museum. He also received the prestigious Compass d'Oro award for industrial design three times.

In excellent condition with etched signature on underside, original Zanotta label, and original packaging.
