A fantastic limited edition table lamp by Johanna Grawunder for her 1995 Air Conditioning Collection for Design Gallery Milano. A rectangular wood form covered in anthracite colored laminate with battlements like a medieval castle, each protecting a tube light bulb. Produced in an edition of 20 by Design Gallery Milano.
Born in San Diego, California, Johanna Grawunder is best known for her lighting designs and installations, with projects ranging from custom commissions and large-scale public installations to limited-edition and mass-produced furniture and objects.
