Spanish-born, Milan-based architect and designer Patricia Urquiola's design for the Flo line for Driade relies on steel structures covered in cane, giving the pieces a durability and stability matched by a bright and lively decorative quality. The sensual shape of the chairs and table, minimalist and functional at the same time, provides for an overall stunning visual effect. This set includes three Flo chairs and one dining table.
Urquiola has designed products and hotels for B&B Italia, Cassina, Moroso Alessi, Baccarat, Salvatore Ferragamo, Kvadrat, Mandarin Oriental, Panerai, Rosenthal, W Hotels, and Louis Vuitton, and her architecture projects can be found all over the world. Her work can also be found in the design collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art, among many other museums.
