A striking postmodern side, end or pedestal table with a base that is constructed to look like a crumbling column. On the base sits a round glass table top that screws into a metal rod that runs up through the base to support the glass. The design manages to perfectly blend classic with modern, whimsy with serious, making it a perfect example of 1980s Art Deco and Memphis Milano-inspired design.
In good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use, including light marking to glass and a few marks on the base.
