A versatile white porcelain stacking ashtray, jewelry box, or desk organizer by Matteo Thun for Arzberg, the German porcelain maker that was part of Rosenthal. Thun is a renowned Italian architect, designer, and co-founder of the Memphis Group and Sottsass Associati. Very cool design, functional, and stylish in porcelain with a white glossy glaze. This inverted conical piece comes apart into three separate ashtrays when assembled.
In very good unused condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. Each piece is marked on the underside with the Arzberg logo.
