Perhaps Michael Graves' (1934-2015) most well-known design for Swid Powell, The Big Dripper (1986) is a 14 cup coffee pot born from Graves' preference for drip coffee and a lack of available drip coffee makers that met his aesthetic standards. High gloss white glaze on pot, filter holder, and lid with gold decoration and brick red base. In very good condition with very little sign of wear, including light mark on rim under lid and inside of pot. Signed on underside of pot with "Said Powell The Big Dripper" and Graves' signature. Includes ceramic pot, lid with spherical gold handle, and ceramic filter holder.
