A 1985 book of photographs that is best described as Esprit's first family photo album. The 1980s fashion powerhouse's early story is told through extensive photographs from advertising photo shoots, the founders' family vacations, and endless anecdotes. Perfectly captures Susie Tompkins' clothes, Oliviero Toscani's photographs, Ettore Sottsass's shop designs, and Tamotsu Yagi's book design. A very rare 1985 snapshot of the fashion retailer's early brilliance in a frosted plastic case with screen printed logo. Book has a glossy laminated cover with French flaps and double specialty paper end papers. Interior paper is a matte coated stock with spot gloss varnish on photos. Non-paginated but about 200 pages.

In excellent vintage condition with original plastic slipcase.
