Charles and Ray Eames designed this toy elephant in 1945 while developing and refining their technique for molding plywood into three-dimensional shapes. It was never mass produced until Vitra launched production of the Eames Elephant for the very first time in the early 2000s. Available in several sizes and materials, this molded plastic elephant is the large size and in the rare Dark Lime color, which has been discontinued.
