A fun and whimsical limited edition set of five plates designed by Laurie Rosenwald for Shiseido's The Ginza boutique in Tokyo, Japan. Rosenwald, the daughter of artist and sculptor Robert Rosenwald, is a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter known for her bright and playful work. The Ginza was launched as a fashion boutique in Ginza, Tokyo in 1975 and pivoted to skincare products in 2002. This set has five white plates featuring an illustration of a particular food with with name of that food: cherries, fish, cheese, egg, and peas. It comes in a custom made wooden box with printing in black ink on top and two sides.
In excellent condition with original price sticker on box (price was removed). Wood box has been repaired.
