A rarely seen stainless steel ice bucket with an ingenious mechanical lid designed by Anselmo Vitale and Carlo Mazzeri for Alessi in 1971. Made in Italy of 18/16 stainless with a removable plastic liner with drainage holes. The lid mechanism and a rubber ring on the top of the bucket allow it to close very tightly. Awarded the Macef Design Award in 1971.
In good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use, including light scratches.
