Perfectly postmodern set of three ceramic coffee/tea cups and matching saucers designed by Massimo Materassi for MAS Italy in the 1980s. White conical cups with a black circle for a handle sit on a round saucer with irregularly spaced black polka dots. In a bit of design genius, the saucer has a small raised cone in the middle that fits perfectly into a cone shaped indentation in the cup, which ensures the cup won't go sliding away off of the plate.
In very good vintage condition with slight wear consistent with age and use. Each piece is marked "MAS ITALY" on its underside.
