A Neoponti production of the Anna table in its larger coffee-table size, made in Italy in the 1990s after Gio Ponti's design for the Borletti commission of 1932. The circular frame is solid wood in a warm natural finish, raised on four slender tapered legs and braced beneath the top by two crossed stretchers that form a radial X visible through the glass. The inset glass top sits flush within the frame's rebated lip, so the cross-bracing and the interior curve of the apron read clearly from above.
Neoponti operated briefly in the 1990s, producing licensed editions of Ponti designs through the Costantino workshop. This example retains the original foil "NEOPONTI - design Giò Ponti" label to the underside of the frame. The wood is in excellent condition with only a few surface scratches to the glass, visible in raking light. The glass is removable and straightforward to replace.
