A Neoponti production of the "Anna" side table, made in Italy in the late 1990s after Gio Ponti's design for the Borletti commission of 1932. The circular frame is solid wood with a warm finish, raised on four tapered legs with brass sabots and braced beneath the top by two crossed stretchers that form a radial X visible through the glass. The inset glass top sits flush within the frame's rebated lip, so the cross-bracing reads clearly from above.
Neoponti operated only briefly in the 1990s, producing licensed editions of Ponti designs through the Costantino workshop. This example retains the original foil "NEOPONTI - design Giò Ponti" label to the underside of the frame. In very good condition with no signs of wear; glass has no chips or cracks.
