A squat jug in black bucchero ceramic designed by Gio Ponti, produced by Costantino for the Neoponti collection. The wide low body rises to a faceted rim that extends into a long, narrow blade-like spout projecting well past the footprint of the vessel, with a flat strap handle opposite. Finished in satin black. The form comes from the bucchero group Ponti drew with the Gubbio ceramicist Carlo Alberto Rossi, returned to production by Costantino under authorization in 1997.
In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. Accompanied by its original Neoponti booklet and manufacturer's box.
