An extraordinarily rare dining table designed by Paola Navone in 1999 for Gervasoni's Allu line. While the company still produces the chairs from the Allu line, this table has long been out of production. A round table with a dark brown bamboo wood top on an anodized gray aluminum tubular frame. It is characterized both by clean lines and geometry and an organic feel. It is designed for indoor use only.
Paola Navone is and Italian architect and designer internationally renowned for her unique and malleable style. Starting in 1974, she worked alongside Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, and Andrea Branzi in the radical design group Alchemia (and later, as a member of Memphis). Through her five decades long career she has produced designs for Poliform, Driade, Casamilano, Roche Bobois, Emu, Habitat, Poltrona Frau, Barovier & Toso, Crate & Barrel, Alessi, Cappellini, Swarovski, Knoll International, and Armani Casa.
