Designed by Charles Pollock (an apprentice of George Nelson) in 1963 for Knoll, the Pollock Executive Chair is both a true stylish classic of modern design and it's comfortable! Featuring what Pollock described as "rim technology" - the use of a single aluminum band around the chairs perimeter to hold the design together structurally and visually. The bucket style seats have padded brown leather upholstery, a black outer shell, and black plastic arms. This chair is on the 4 prong base with the optional rolling casters.
Leather and outer shell are in very good vintage condition, although the chair is missing one button where the user's lower back rests. There is also some marking to the chrome etching consistent with age and use. Retains the original Knoll tag on the underside and is dated 1973.
