A near perfect matte Espresso (brown) AC-14 Gainey ceramic planter that epitomizes the charm and craftsmanship of California handcrafted ceramics. Originally introduced in the early 1960’s as the C series, the design was tweaked in the 1970s to become the AC (Cylinder) series, Gainey’s number one selling piece of pottery.
A piece of high quality and collectible California ceramics in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks and rings like a bell. Has one small quarter-sized indentation (see photos) from manufacturing.
