A stunning engraved, gold plated, and stainless steel Campidoglio tray designed by architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown in 1985 for Alessi's "La Tavola di Babele" line of stainless steel kitchen tools and serving pieces. In an homage to Michelangelo, this rounded tray was inspired by Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome and executed on 18/10 stainless steel by mechanical incision and gold plating - resulting from careful research with Alessi's engineers.
In excellent unused condition in original packaging.
