A beautiful mid-century Scandinavian rosewood and stainless steel carving set by Magnus Stephensen (attributed) for Georg Jensen. A minimalist modern set in its original packaging and consisting of a stainless carving knife and fork with rosewood handles and a triangular rosewood resting block. Stephensen's designs can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
In excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including marking to the knife from sharpening. Both utensils are marked 'Georg Jensen Denmark Stainless'.
