Formed in 1985 by Dimitri Michaelides, Sam Stang and David Levi, IBEX Glass Studio was heavily influenced by contemporary European design, mid-century Venetian glass, and early American studio glass pioneers.
Light blue, black, red, and clear art glass vases are right in line with work by late 1980s/early 1990s post-modern designers, like Sottsass and his Memphis contemporaries. Two are available. Both are signed on the base “IBEX 1990”. No chips or cracking.
