A lovely handblown iridescent glass Lune vase by famed Italian designer Paola Navone, who worked with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, and Andrea Branzi as part of both the Alchimia and Memphis design groups. She has designed for Alessi, Cappellini, Poliform, Driade, Roche Bobois, and Poltrona Frau, to name just a few.
Since its inception in 1990 Arcade has produced limited edition Murano glass pieces. Each piece is free mouth blown and is therefore unique. Arcade's collections are the result of a collaboration between Ivan Baj, Arcade's founder, and a select group of international glass designers.
This vase is from a limited edition of 300 pieces, is signed on the underside, and retains the original label. In excellent condition with two rub marks on underside. No chips or cracks.
