Does anyone know who Frank Hill is? I sure wish I did but can’t find any information about him anywhere!
Hill’s untiled portrait resembles a time lapse photo of a beautiful woman turning her head. The eye makeup and bright pink lipstick are mesmerizing and draw the viewer back and forth across the large canvas. (It is five feet wide!) Clearly influenced by pop art and op art, this painting also owes much to the mid-century modern aesthetic. Signed Frank Hill in bottom right corner.
