Mexican-American artist Luis Preciado worked in a style he describes as "Post Art Deco Graphic”, which is very reminiscent of Patrick Nagel’s best work in the 1980s.
This serigraph depicts a swimsuit clad woman with a parrot on her right shoulder standing in front of a black & white checkerboard splattered with pink paint. Paint splatter has a raised texture that gives it a three dimensional quality. Signed “Preciado 88” in lower right corner.
Presented in a black leather covered frame. Other than a 1/2” dent on top, frame is in great shape. Title is unknown.
