A striking postmodern rug by the renowned Belgian manufacturer Louis de Poortere. Designed by Zofia Rostad, this "City" design is a bold example of late 20th-century design. Made from 100% pure wool, the rug features a dense, hand-tufted pile. It showcases an abstract, gestural design with wide, brush-stroke-like bands of vibrant color-including fiery red, brilliant yellow, and shades of electric blue and teal-set against a deep black background. The dynamic composition and brilliant hues create a powerful visual statement, perfectly capturing the energetic and artistic spirit of the era.
