Designed by renowned postmodern American architect Michael Graves in 1986 for Italian housewares powerhouse Alessi. Graves' designs perfectly capture the 1980s aesthetic, especially the influence of the Memphis Milano movement, of which he was an early contributor. Constructed of bird's-eye maple case and base, lacquered wood column legs, glass covering the face and plastic pendulum.
In very good vintage condition and keeps great time. Top is removed to change the battery or to access the movement. Signed on underside of the lid and on the clock's face.
