A mid-century modern Lytegem desk/task lamp by Michael Lax for Lightolier (1965) with a black base, red shade and extendable chrome stem, with switch for two light intensities. Can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
In good vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use, including on ball shade. (Please see photos.)
