A 1983 lithograph designed and created by American artist Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) to help fight Apartheid -- a system of legal racial segregation enforced by the South African government between 1948 and 1994. One of several posters in a series donated by well-known artists to raise world awareness to the injustice of Apartheid. It was published by Galerie Maeght-Lelong, and the United Nations Special Committee against Apartheid, and printed by Lafayette (Paris)
In vintage condition with a few tears on edges and staining at top. (See photos.) Printed on smooth, white wove paper.
