A seductive mid-century modern sculptural table lamp attributed to Modeline of California. Square wooden base and cap held apart by four chrome posts that support alternating pieces of smoked lucite that capture the space age. In the center of the lamp sits a plastic tube in which the two lightbulbs are suspended.
From the late 1960s or early 1970s, the lamp stands 36” tall and is impressive, especially when lit up. Has a 3 way switch that allows the top, bottom, or both bulbs to be lit. Works perfectly and is in great vintage condition, although the central plastic tube has begun to yellow from age.
