A pair of sea blue glass vases by Alvar Aalto for Iittala. Designed in 1937, the lines of the vase were inspired by the plentiful bodies of water found throughout Aalto's native Finland. Iconic, bold, yet with a very natural movement that has been celebrated since its release.
In excellent condition with very light shelf wear. One tiny bubble blown into small vase in making. Acid etched printing on bottom ("ALVAR AALTO").
