A pair of 1970s black "Spaghetti" bar stools by Giandomenico Belotti for Alias. A classic of modern design that can be found in the permanent design collection of the MoMA, these are named for the pasta-like strands of black PVC wrapped around the the steel frame of the seat and back. These flexible cords provide comfortable seating and spring back in perfect alignment when not in use.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including minor paint loss. This set comes from a well-known New York City Italian restaurant. Each chair has remnants of the original Alias sticker.
