Designed in 1955 during a golden era of Swedish pottery, Stig Lindberg's "Terma" series for Gustavsberg was truly revolutionary. Constructed of glazed Novarlit stoneware (originally developed for us in rocket launchers) with a matte/low luster, these ceramic pieces are flame and oven proof and can go from stove to serving to display beautifully. The whole Terma line contained 20 kitchenware designs, two of which are included here: a large lidded pot and two of the smaller frying pans. It was produced from 1955-1970.
In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few imperfections in the glaze (see photos).
Signed on the bottom "GUSTAVSBERG TERMA FLAMELDFAST SWEDEN"
