A vintage 1970s beige five drawer modular cabinet designed by Simon Fussell for Kartell's Stacking Drawer Program storage line. Each drawer is square with a quarter-round pull. This system's modularity allows for adding casters, stacking drawers as high as desired, orienting the drawers in different directions, and adding a flat top. Each drawer unit has four dowels on the top that fit into four holes in the next stacking unit. The dowels are at each corner so they don't move as they're stacked, opened, or rolled around, which makes this system as useful as Joe Colombo's Boby cart.
In good vintage condition with light color change from age and wear consistent with light use. No cracks or chips or significant scratches. Missing two dowels but doesn't impact the drawers' functionality. Each drawer is labeled on underside: "Kartell Storage Drawer Program Design by Simon Fussell".
