A vintage and rare Fiorucci poster with two women in high heels and jeans waving while a motorcyclist pulls up behind them on a pier by the sea. The photo is beautifully lit and the poster includes slightly diagonal FIORRUCI lettering on the left edge. Photographer and printer are unknown.
Elio Fiorucci founded the world famous eponymous Italian fashion brand in 1967. By the early 1980s, the NYC Fiorucci store became a magnet for the city's creative trendsetters, celebrities, and stars in the making, and it was sometimes called "a daytime Studio 54". Andy Warhol, Debbie Harry, a very young Madonna, Jackie O., and royalty from all over the world could regularly be found in the store. This poster was purchased by the original owner at the NYC Fiorucci store in 1981.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age, including edge wear.
