A vintage and rare Fiorucci poster with two women naked from the waist up wearing sparkly black pants and high heels. One model is Black with black hair and the other is white with blonde hair. Fiorucci branding appears in yellow at top center of the poster. Photograph is by Oliviero Toscani, the great Italian fashion photographer responsible for iconic imagery for both Fiorucci and Benetton, and the poster was printed in Italy by Ugo Riboldi.
Elio Fiorucci founded the world famous eponymous Italian fashion brand in 1967. By the early 1980s, the NYC Fiorucci store became a magnet for the city's creative trendsetters, celebrities, and stars in the making, and it was sometimes called "a daytime Studio 54". Andy Warhol, Debbie Harry, a very young Madonna, Jackie O., and royalty from all over the world could regularly be found in the store.
In good vintage condition with edge wear, push pin holes in corners, and the thick poster stock is wavy from storage in a frame.
