Charles and Ray Eames established their long relationship with Herman Miller in 1946 with their original molded plywood dining and lounge chairs. Designed to fit the body, the molded plywood chairs are produced using thin sheets gently molded into body-fitting curved shapes with rubber shock mounts to absorb movement. The DCM's beautiful silhouette, enduring charm, and comfort have earned it a place in the lexicon of modern design. This walnut DCM (dining chair metal) is signed and dated 2/6/2007.
In very good condition with wear consistent with age and use, including a scratch on the seat and a few marks to seat front and top rear of the seat's back (see photos).
